Music Ministries

If you enjoy music, you'll want to check out our complete choir program.  Our Sanctuary Choir practices on Wednesday evenings and performs in the morning worship service as often as possible.  Our Youth Choir practices on Sunday afternoons and performs during the evening services.  We also have age-leveled choirs for preschoolers and children.

Worship
Using classic hymns of the past and contemporary praise choruses of today, we, at First Southern Baptist Church, allow people of all backgrounds the opportunity to worship together.  The use of Scripture, prayer, drama, and other elements keep worship fresh and alive.  Combined with sound biblical preaching from our pastor, you will receive spiritual encouragement each Lord's day.

Adult Choir
The adult choir sings on Sunday mornings during worship and has special performances.
Practice time is 8:00 - 9:00 Wednesday evenings.

Youth Choir
Practice time is 5:00 - 6:00 Sunday evenings.

Handbell Choir
The handbell choir performs during Sunday morning or evening service monthly or as often as possible.
Practice time is 4:00 - 5:00 Sunday evenings.

Orchestra
The orchestra periodically accompanies worship on Sunday mornings.
Practice time is 5:00 - 6:00 Sunday evenings.
