Message from the Youth Director
The youth at First Southern Baptist are involved in various activities throughout their own individual schools and in the church.
Our goal is to keep Christ at the center of all that we do. Without Christ, we are nothing.
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Phillipians 4:13.
Our theme "focused" comes from the sermons that Brother Ray preached on as we went through the book of Romans.
Jesus is the target, and we are to keep our focus on the target. "So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen;
for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2nd Corinthians 4:18.
- Ryan Pardue, Youth Director
Youth are very important at First Southern Baptist Church. Exciting Bible study and Christian fellowship provide a strong
Christian foundation, while annual missions activities, Super Summer youth camp, and various retreats and outings offer
unique spiritual encounters, helping your youth to become the men and women God would have them to be. We have that
special place for your youth.
